Rory is Powerscourt’s founder and CEO. He had a successful career as a journalist in Ireland and then in the UK, holding a number of senior roles in both countries, including Business Editor at The Sunday Times. He spent a period as director of corporate affairs at Goldman Sachs International before establishing Powerscourt in 2004.
He oversees the culture and strategy of the business, working closely with the senior leadership team each day, and remains deeply engaged with clients – especially at moments of challenge and change.
Since 2018, Rory has been the Chairman of the Ireland Funds of Great Britain, the local chapter of a global Irish philanthropic network supporting Irish causes internationally. During his time in the Chair, the Board has achieved gender balance and has been substantially expanded. He retires from that role shortly. He studied journalism at the Dublin Institute of Technology.

Working across all sectors, on listed and also private companies, Victoria provides valuable insight into how clients manage their reputations through times of change and heightened scrutiny.
Based in London, she joins from Powerscourt, which has been acquired by Morrow Sodali. She will be working closely with the European teams to help build out a full-service advisory and shareholder services practice.
Before joining Powerscourt in 2004, Victoria spent 12 years as an investment banker and in equity sales at UBS, Merrill Lynch (BofA) and Morgan Stanley.

Before Morrow Sodali’s acquisition of Powerscourt, David led on the financial, commercial and operational aspects of the Powerscourt business, with a broad remit to ensure the effective growth and performance of the firm. Under Morrow Sodali, David will also help to build out a full-service advisory practice in Europe.
David began his career as a chartered accountant in EY’s corporate finance team, before moving to Close Brothers Corporate Finance (now DC Advisory) to advise on mergers and acquisitions in the consumer and industrials sectors.
David studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Oxford.

She joined following two decades in financial services where she was previously a Director of Corporate Broking at Davy and a senior private client specialist in the wealth management division.

Eavan has a BA (Hons) Economics and MSc in Financial Services from UCD and is a member of the Irish Institute of Bankers, Irish Institute of Directors, a registered stockbroker and a qualified financial adviser.

Rob joined Powerscourt at the beginning of 2008 as a sector generalist, having previously worked in the executive search industry specialising in the Debt Capital Markets.

Justin’s experience includes financial and corporate communications ranging from advising on best practice regulatory disclosure to leading multi-channel profile raising campaigns. In addition, he has significant experience of advising clients on communications for London IPOs, transformational M&A transactions, shareholder activism, debt restructurings and issues management.
Prior to Powerscourt, Justin spent eight years with an international communications consultancy where he was a Director. He began his career in consultancy before moving to FTSE 100 company Cable & Wireless where he was part of its corporate affairs team.

Peter has over two decades’ experience of the full range of financial and corporate communications activities. Peter has a particular specialism in cross border M&A and ECM communications, as well as high end reputational issues and crises. In particular he has advised on some of the largest European IPOs in recent years.
From 2009-12 he worked in Australia, where he advised on two of the largest transactions in Australian corporate history: BHP’s bid for Rio Tinto and the Aus $7bn privatisation of QR National.
After graduating in 1998 Peter worked in Westminster as a junior lobbyist, then moved into corporate and financial communications consultancy after a stint in Corporate Affairs at FTSE 100 company Imperial Brands.
Prior to joining Powerscourt in 2015, initially as a Director and head of Industrials, he spent eight years at The Maitland Consultancy.

At Powerscourt she leads the TMT team, which serves listed and unlisted businesses of all sizes as well as TMT investment organisations such as venture capital firms.

After early roles in advertising and investment banking, Ben joined Dewe Rogerson where he advised on a number of the UK privatisations. He then spent 11 years at Financial Dynamics as a Partner and Consumer Industries Sector Lead and was part of the MBO that led to the sale to FTI.
He co-founded Pendomer Communications in 2011 and subsequently sold the business to Teneo in 2016, following which he spent seven years as a Senior Managing Director in their London office.
Ben is a seasoned communications adviser who has operated at the vanguard of strategic and integrated communications for over twenty five years. He specialises in providing financial and corporate communications advice in the UK and internationally. He has extensive experience in both the listed and private equity arenas across a broad range of industry sectors.

He joined London and Dublin-based strategic communications firm Powerscourt – a Morrow Sodali company – in 2018, founding and leading the political affairs team.
By background, Mark was a journalist and political adviser, which has given him a thorough understanding of the intricacies of media relations and legislative process. He was press secretary to former UK business secretary Sir Vince Cable when leader of Liberal Democrats, developing news lines that helped promote the party’s agenda.
Mark demonstrated his news and writing abilities as a senior business and political reporter at titles like The Independent on Sunday, London Evening Standard and TIME. He has trained a number of now prominent journalists to develop their writing skills.
Mark has worked on some of the most high-profile British political inquiries, such as racism in cricket, and legislation campaigns, including the reform of the Official Secrets Acts, of the past few years.

He worked on the mergers and integration of Abbey, Alliance & Leicester and Bradford & Bingley and on the bank’s UK brand launch. Andy also acted as Santander’s main UK media spokesperson.
At Powerscourt Andy leads the firm’s banking practice – including running campaigns and managing comms for leading banks in the UK, Ireland, Malaysia, Switzerland, Cyprus, Denmark, China, and Greece. Andy also supports a number of non-banking Financial Services clients including leading Life & Pensions companies; non-bank finance providers; wealth managers; financial planners and fintechs.
Prior to Santander Andy spent eight years in agency PR, supporting banks and other financial services businesses. In this time he ran campaigns for major international banks; general insurers; governments and price comparison sites.
Andy began his career with Unum Group an American Group Risk insurer before moving to Virgin Money. At both these organisation Andy was the main UK media spokesperson and responsible for communication strategy.

Simon advises clients on all public affairs work related to the built environment and real estate and has extensive experience of education, retail, FMGC and high net worth individuals.
Simon’s work includes senior counsel on threats and opportunities from existing and proposed legislation. Most recently advising the International Chamber of Commerce on their flagship campaign for the introduction of the Electronic Trade Documents Act, which received Royal Assent in July 2023.

Michael Keating is an analyst in Powerscourt’s public affairs and campaigns teams. He uses his knowledge of social media ecosystems to provide clients with insight on how online narratives develop over time and influence wider public perceptions. Before joining Powerscourt, Michael worked as an academic researcher, analysing how approaches to press regulation vary across different European countries. He also holds a postgraduate degree in political communications. Michael’s clients include the International Chamber of Commerce UK, Halfords, Primary Health Properties and Azeem Rafiq.
