Powerscourt is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Foster as a Senior Director and Head of Capital Markets Communications.
Ben’s appointment follows the announcement on 11th October that Powerscourt had been acquired by Morrow Sodali, the world’s leading shareholder engagement and governance advisory company. Ben joins the senior team in a newly created role as Head of Capital Markets Communications.
Ben’s remit will span all sectors and, in conjunction with Morrow Sodali, help to maintain excellence and consistency across the firm’s financial communications practice. Ben is a seasoned communications adviser who has operated at the vanguard of strategic and integrated communications for over twenty years. Ben co-founded Pendomer Communications and subsequently sold the business to Teneo in 2016, following which he spent seven years as a Senior Managing Director in their London office. During this time, he advised a number of key public and private clients, in a range of situations and sectors.
Ben Foster, Senior Director, said: “Powerscourt is a business that I have admired from afar for many years. It is fanatical about its clients and has always been entrepreneurial, benefiting from a differentiated and highly effective communications offer. The Morrow Sodali deal has opened up significant new opportunities for Powerscourt and I am excited to be joining a high calibre team as we deploy our broader capabilities and accelerate the next phase of growth.”
Victoria Palmer-Moore, Senior Managing Director, said: “Ben is a hugely experienced and well-respected figure in our industry. We are delighted that he has chosen to join us in this newly created role at a transformational point for the firm as we add on new capabilities and access to new markets, following our acquisition by Morrow Sodali. Ben will lead the charge on our marketing efforts for all capital markets related objectives and his significant experience will bolster our senior team and bring increased vigour to our already strong capital markets offering.”
